how i think
I tend to think in systems and long-term outcomes. Useful sometimes. Other times it means I’ve spent 20 minutes optimizing a dinner plan that did not need optimization.
I grew up tying effort to outcomes, so I still instinctively look for ROI in things. I’m learning that not everything needs to lead somewhere. Some things can just be interesting.
I value clarity. Mostly because I’ve seen how confusing things get when people don’t just say what they mean.
I notice misalignment early. I don’t always address it early. Still working on that.
how i work
I prefer building over debating. Partly because I enjoy it more, partly because I lose patience with conversations that go nowhere.
I think long-term before committing, which makes me slower at the start but more consistent once I’m in.
I care about doing things properly, not just quickly or visibly.
If I say I’ll do something, I’ll do it. Not in a loud way, just reliably.
I also tend to remember details and follow up. Useful trait. Occasionally annoying.
how i live
I don’t drink or use substances. Not a rule, just a preference. I like being present and remembering things the next day.
I try to respond instead of react. Doesn’t always happen, but it’s the goal.
I like calm. Not because I don’t feel things, but because chaos rarely improves them.
Outside work, I’m usually exploring food, going for walks, watching something random, or sending memes I find funnier than they probably are.
I’m ambitious, but I’m also trying to make sure life doesn’t turn into a checklist.
